URBANA

Brief:

To design a full brand identity with specific campaign deliverables to promote the company.

Concept:

In the past few years, the Lower Mainland, especially Vancouver has experienced a major housing crisis (Average price for a single detached house in the Lower Mainland is $1.4, with a vacancy rate of rental properties in Vancouver sitting at just 0.7%). I decided to create Urbana, a new to market real estate development that provides young working professionals affordable, newly furnished studios, with easy access to downtown Vancouver. The hypothetical development is located in Central Park, Burnaby BC, close to the Patterson sky train station, with just a 25 minute commute to downtown. I am also passionate about interior design, so I felt that a real estate development was the perfect way to incorporate these two design disciplines together, into one project. The concept behind the branding of the development was focused around two core values: Home and Community, together.
